Little Auralia is 3 months old!!
In the last 4 weeks she's become a lot more vocal- loves cooing, grunting, and even crying to express her feelings. She's a lot more smiley and has started to giggle. She also tries pulling her head up when she's reclined but yet she screams through tummy time. Go figure! She also LOVES snuggling up to mom or dad to nap. She'll fall asleep almost instantly once she's nuzzled her head into our chest. I don't think she's started teething yet, and I'm more than happy that it hasn't started yet. Getting her through the 2 cranky days after vaccinations was enough. She's a good sleeper, usually a 5-8 hour stretch and then one or two 3 hour stretches. And her hair is so stinkin cute! After a bath it always dries into a little 'cindy lou who' curl that stands straight up. She still isn't sure about baths. I've started to fill the tub so that it comes to her tummy while she reclines in her chair. She doesn't really kick or play, but she also doesn't cry (until we take her out and she gets cold). She also loves sucking on her fist and will sometimes chew on her fingers. And she is the gassiest little thing! Always tooting! We love when she sneezes or coughs and toots at the same time- we laugh every time :) I know, so immature.
We are so blessed to have this happy, healthy little girl in our family! We love her to pieces!!
Here are some photos (and a video) of our little peanut:
Her outfit matches our pillowcases... we like to play Where's Waldo with her :)
Looks like an angel!

Central Park
So on Saturday we ventured out to explore Central Park. The temple is nearby so we first went to see that. We went inside to the distribution center and it was so wonderful! It was quiet, clean, peaceful, and smelled delightful (at least not like trash & vomit like everywhere else does). We also hit the farmer's market across the street. I miss fresh produce so much! Especially delicious (free!) peaches so we bought some really yummy ones. Sad part is that they were $6 for 4 peaches! Shouldn't splurges be on chocolatey desserts?
So getting back to Central Park- it is absolutely huge!! 843 acres huge! There are bodies of water, gardens, sporting fields, fountains, bridges, statues, street vendors, walking paths, and a small road where people can skate, bike, run, or drive. There are also tons of trees, grass, bushes, etc. Felt like a little forest. It was awesome! I just wish we would have brought the stroller! We did so much walking and just carried her in the moby. But after a while the diaper back felt like 100 pounds along with the sack of peaches. And then she needed to eat so we just carried her. Next time we're going to bring the stroller and our roller blades! Oh, and we saw the main character (Hank) from Royal Pains in the park!!
